Carly Fiorina's stepdaughter dead at 35

Republican U.S. Senate candidate Carly Fiorina is in mourning this
week, following the death of her 35-year-old stepdaughter, Lori Ann.
The Fiorina daughter, who lived in Manassas, Virgina, died Oct 12;
services were held last Friday, according to an obituary that appeared
in the Pittsburg Post Gazette.
Official biographies say Fiorina, the former CEO of Hewlett-Packard,
helped raise both Lori Ann and her sister, Traci, daughters of
Fiorina's second husband, Frank Fiorina.Candidate Fiorina was
diagnosed with breast cancer herself earlier this year, but her
campaign says she has been treated and has since been given a clean
bill of health by doctors.
The cause of her stepdaughter's death was not given, but Talking
Points Memo had the statement from Fiorina's chief of staff, Deborah
Bowker, on behalf of the family: "Carly and Frank Fiorina are deeply
saddened by the loss of their youngest daughter, Lori. This is a
difficult time for the family and they appreciate all good thoughts,
prayers, as well as respect for their privacy during this time of
grief and healing."
