Barry "Frazier Mohawk" Friedman
1941 - 2012

Barry Friedman, (Frazier Mohawk) 1941 - 2012 Born Barry Friedman in
Los Angeles, Calfornia, 1941. Frazier Mohawk passed away on the
morning of June 2, 2012 after a lengthy illness. He leaves behind his
ex-wife, Essra Mohawk, Walter Sobszak (chief engineer at National
Treasures Records) and dear friend and partner in Puck's Farm, Mark
Parr.

Frazier will be greatly missed by the many lives intertwined with his
in and out of the TV production, circus and music industry. Neil Young
recalls a period in the book, "Neil and Me," written by his father
Scott Young: "Barry Friedman put us in a house on Fountain Street and
told us to start working. The whole thing was great, a tremendous
relief. We had a place to sleep and could take a shower. We had a
house and weren't on the street. Barry gave us a dollar a day each for
food. All we had to do was keep practicing. Barry did it all, you
know. He basically put it together and kept it together."

It is true that Frazier "put it together and kept it together." He
inspired, he created; he enjoyed the ridiculous and the sublime.
Frazier leaves a rich legacy; of friends, a barn full of animals, and
memories of a person who inhaled and exhaled creativity.

Dear Frazier, what a wild ride you've had. Thank you for taking us
with you.
