Never heard of 'em before, but the Toronto Globe & Mail (via the link
provided) says that Canadian Tire has the actors under contract until
30 June and has forbidden them from talking about this. Canadian Tire
won't discuss it, either, saying that it's focused on the new ad
campaign.
This is, in a nutshell, the Bizarro World's approach to public
relations.
I went to their site, since I wanted to see what they were about, and
they asked for my postal code. I gave them a Zip code (not mine) and
they seemed to have no problem with that.

My sister went to high school with the Canadian Tire Guy way back when
