OAK BLUFFS, Mass. (AP) -- Chris Rebello, who as a young actor played the police
chief's son in the movie ''Jaws,'' died Thursday of a heart attack. He was 37.

In a famous scene in the 1975 movie, Rebello's character is stranded on a
sailboat as the shark circles.

Rebello was a native of Martha's Vineyard, where ''Jaws'' was shot. He stayed
on the island and was a football coach at Martha's Vineyard Regional High
School at the time of his death.

EYOW! That's rather startling. I've seen that movie so many times I can
picture him perfectly.

Volfie -> I never realized he didn't go on to some sort of movie/TV/theatre
career, either

Is this the kid who has the memorable dinner table scene with Scheider in the
film?

No.

Reading the original post is a very useful skill.

There's another article at:

Donations may be made to the Christopher R. Rebello Children's Education
Fund, care of the Compass Bank, P.O. Box 3232, Oak Bluffs, MA 02557.

Math is also a useful skill. Since Chris was 37, that means he was
about 11 26 years
ago when the film was shot. The boy at the dinner scene, Jay Mello, was
clearly
younger than 11.

Original post doesn't answer the question which is why I asked. Does being a
bitch come naturally to you?
