A 20-year-old man who slammed into a pool deck after jumping from the fourth floor of an apartment building has died from his injuries.

According to the Honolulu Medical Examiner's office, Quinn Kunitomo, of Honolulu, suffered critical injuries after he tried to jump into a swimming pool.

The incident happened just after 2:30 a.m. Sunday at the Kalo Terrace Student Suites near the University of Hawaii Manoa campus.

Paramedics took Kunitomo to the hospital where he later died.

The Medical Examiner says Kunitomo died from cranial cerebral injuries due to a fall from a height.

The manner of death has been ruled as an accident.

Gee, I wonder if alcohol was involved?

This should not be deemed an accident. If he had accidentally fallen,
sure, but he jumped. The cause of death should be listed as stupidity.

Falling from the fourth floor might be an accident. But not
deliberately jumping. So are you seriously suggesting that jumping
from the fourth floor isn't stupid?

We'll take them aside and speak to them. That's not allowed in
alt.obituaries. Shame on the people that made gravity of this situation.
Now you people know who you you are....SHAME ON YOU.

Anyway....It's a damned shame your brother didn't take Quinn aside and
tell him....if you miss that pool pal...they're gonna make fun of you.

Mind you now....I would nevah do such a thing. NEVAH I TELL YOU.

You won't see me standing on that balcony when Quinn took that fatal
leap....HOLLERING

YOU'LL NOT SEE NOTHING LIKE THE MIGHTY QUINN.
