wrestler Ivan Kalmikoff dead at 78

Edward Bruce, who wrestled professionally under the name Ivan Kalmikoff
during the 1950's and 60's has died of a heart attack in Farmington Hills
Michigan. He was one of the most prominent villains of the early days of
TV wrestling, as one half of the cold war era Kalmikoff brothers.
Following the death of his partner Karol he wrestled solo, and later
became a manager.
In addition to his wrestling career Mr. Bruce worked as a
landscaper at the Detroit Zoo for 20 years, and coached wrestling at
Bishop Bordess HS Redfors Township Mich.
He has been buried at Rural Hill Cemetary, Northville Michigan
