Pro Staff CEO Dead at 51

Friday, October 26, 2007 - 11:37 AM CDT

Jeffrey Dobbs, founder and CEO of Pro Staff, died Wednesday. He was
51.

Dobbs founded Minneapolis-based Pro Staff in 1982. The company offers
staffing, talent management, and executive search services and has
more than 90 offices nationwide. This past summer it launched Hunter
Hamilton Professional Resources, a division specializing in finding
interim senior-level finance and accounting workers.

He was also a board member of the Spring Point Project, a nonprofit
pursuing a treatment for diabetes.

A funeral service is scheduled for 3 p.m. Monday at Calvary Lutheran
Church in Golden Valley. The visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel and at the church 1 hour
before the service, according to an obituary in the Star Tribune.

Dobbs family has asked that you consider making a donation to the
Spring Point Project. Jeff was a passionate supporter of the work of
Spring Point Project, serving as a member of the Board of Directors
and a significant contributor, both in terms of financial support and
a generous giver of his time and talents. He was especially proud of
the partnership with the University of Minne- sota's Diabetes
Institute for Immunology and Transplantation. The family has asked
that memorials in Jeff's honor be directed to Spring Point Project
where they will be shared with the University of MN in their pursuit
