This rang a very faint bell, but I found the ringer: Reveen had his own
comic book ca. 1965:

That was, I think, the only time I'd ever heard of Reveen until just
now. (But, like the man said, I *did* remember Reveen!) The comic is
so obscure that it's not even listed in the Overstreet Guide, and that
makes it pretty damn obscure.
