I thought he died a few years back. He's already outlived many of the
stars of the movie Car Wash, namely Richard Pryor and George Carlin
among others, and he was probably in his mid 60's at the time.

I knew he was still living, and was just thinking about him in the context of
the Joan Scott discussion, because The World's Foremost Authority was also
blacklisted....

It'd be great to meet with some of the surviving cast members of "Car Wash" at
the strip mall that replaced the real-life Figueora Car Wash to talk about the
film...the fantasy scenario mainly involves Antonio Fargas, but it'd be a real
coup to get Corey there as well....r
