Britney Madison, adult film star, killed in car crash

LAS VEGAS - Brad Fitzgerald, webmaster for BritneyMadison.Com, sent out
an announcement over email last night stating that Madison was killed
in an auto accident at the beginning of May.
"Unfortunately, I was not made aware of this until tonight," the
announcement read, "but Stacey Pfeiffer (A.K.A. Britney Madison) was
killed in a car accident along with another friend of hers.
"I felt it was important to let everyone know what had happened, as
she had worked with so many people in the industry and has a tremendous
fan base. On a personal note, she was a beautiful person, always a joy
to work with, and our thoughts are with her family and friends."
Madison's credits include Sodomy (Badass Pictures/Metro), Throat
Yogurt (Platinum X Pictures), Un-natural Sex 11(Diabolic Video
Productions), Pussyman's Teen Land 9 (Feline Films/Legend Video), 5
on 1 (Red Light District), Shitty Shitty Bang Bang (Smash Pictures),
Real College Girls 12 (Hustler Video) and Blow Me Sandwich 5 (Zero
Tolerance).

Last time I looked.
We've had a couple of porn-queen deaths reported here in recent years,
and this isn't the only one that's made me suspicious. Hyapatia Lee's
death is the other one I've wondered about. In that line of work,
pretending to be dead probably has some advantages.
Terri Welles was much better looking than Teri Weigel.

My surmise: She had quietly quit the biz. It's fairly common these days
for a young woman to come out to L.A., spend a year or so in the biz,
make some money, then wander off. When she died, her family, who was
probably never thrilled about her little stint in the porn biz anyway,
never bothered to notify anyone. Eventually, the one or two people in
the biz who still gave a damn about her whereabouts (like the webmaster
of her eponymous web site) began trying to find her and discovered the
news about the accident.
