A Chicago rapper was killed and a woman with him was seriously wounded last Friday after two gunmen got out of a black Cadillac and fired nearly two dozens rounds at them.

Tristian Hamilton, a 31-year-old rapper who performed under the name FBG Cash, was hit at least 13 times and was pronounced dead at Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, according to police.

Ummm......"artists"? Well, I have no answer, but the rest of us just need to stay out of the line of fire. Artists can be a temperamental lot who seem to enjoy suffering. Makes them stronger in their artistic endeavors. No need for us to do their suffering for them. We suffer enough by hearing the art they create.

The murder of Carlton Weekly, FBG Duck, was August 4, 2020. His
girlfriend was wounded, as was someone else standing in line.

Chicago Sun-Times reviewed police records. An informant in custody told
police and FBI that someone affiliated with Black Disciples had put a
$50,000 bounty on FGB Duck's head, which was later raised to $100,000.

Ralph Turpin, 33, also known as "Tall" or "Teezy," is charged with
committing a murder in aid of racketeering and conspiracy to commit
murder in aid of racketeering, according to the U.S. attorney's office.

Also charged in FBG Duck's death are: Charles "C Murda" Liggins, 30;
Kenneth "Kenny" Robinson, 28; Tacarlos "Los" Offerd, 30; Christopher "C
Thang" Thomas, 22; and Marcus "Muwop" Smart, 22.

The indictment says the O-Block gang engaged in numerous acts of
violence, including the killing of Carlton Weekly, the Chicago rapper
also known as FBG Duck, on Aug. 4, 2020.

Weekly was shot as many as 21 times in a daytime attack that also
wounded his girlfriend and another person who was waiting in line with
them at the Dolce & Gabbana boutique, 68 E. Oak St. . . .
