LOS ANGELES - "Jackass" star Johnny Knoxville is officially single again
after nearly 13 years of marriage, court papers show.
The 37-year-old Knoxville, whose real name is listed in court documents
as Philip John Clapp, filed for divorce from Melanie Lynn Clapp last
July 3 in Los Angeles Superior Court.
The two married in May 1995 and separated in July 2006. A judgment
finalizing their divorce was entered last Thursday.
The former couple have a 12-year-old daughter, Madison Tatiana Clapp,
but custody arrangements and child support have yet to be worked out.
Knoxville is best known for the "Jackass" series on MTV, which spawned
two feature films. His other credits include roles in "The Dukes of
Hazzard" and "Men in Black II."
