Gilberte Najamy has died...last week. We grew up together and kept in touch over the years.

Some of you may recognize her name from the Robert Durst trials as she was instrumental in having him investigated for the "disappearance" of his wife, Kathie Durst. Gilberte was a close friend of Kathie's and was the last person to see Kathie alive (except of course for Bobby Durst, who killed her).

I have so many fond memories of Gilberte. I will write a more extensive memoriam in the days ahead.

Here is an obituary, but it is scant on information.

You're making progress. This time it only took a week for you to find out a "friend" died.

<FOUL!>

Let's be fair. marcus grew up with Gilberte Najamy. There isn't any way
he can respond to her obituary without including comments about their
friendship.

Yeah, so? Being dead a week I suppose we can forgive her for not
contacting him directly.

She lived in Connecticut. The Obit was in the Danbury Times. marcus
lives in New York state.

Show some decency. Give him a pass on this.

Rotflmao. I'd wager a million bucks he never met her. Lol

Very nice marcus. I lost a friend and neighbor on 8/2/15. Her services
were last Thursday. Her husband is in tough shape as they were inseparable
in life.

Pay up, sweetie....according to the Price & Lee Danbury Directories of 1962, 1968 and 1973, the Najamys and Catones were neighbors on Putnam Drive, residing at #1 and #5. I'd say there's a damn good chance he not only met her, but grew up with her, just like he said.

Why is it some people have to be so damn criticle of others??????
