Hollywood child star Danny Bonaduce reportedly attacked Survivor star
Jonny Fairplay at the Fox Reality Channel Really Awards.
Bonaduce, who is best known for his role on the 1970s TV show The
Partridge Family, is named as the suspect in a felony battery report,
TMZ.com reported Wednesday.
Bonaduce jumped on stage at the event, picked Fairplay up and slammed
him on his face, smashing out several of Fairplay's teeth and sending
him to a nearby hospital where police were called, TMZ.com said..

The story is NOT accurate. I watched the entire video. Bonaduce walked
onto the stage, not jumped. He told Fairplay that the people were booing
him. Several words were exchanged, they didn't seem angry. Bonaduce
seemed to be leaving...Fairplay jumps up onto Bonaduce and with his
crotch in Bonaduce's chest starts HUMPING HIM. Bonaduce then
grabs Fairplay's thighs, which are easily accessible since Fairplay
is HUMPING HIM and literally tosses fairplay over his own head and
Fairplay lands FACE FIRST onto the stage. Bonaduce NEVER picked
up Fairplay and he was not slammed, he was thrown off of Bonaduce
who apparently is quite strong.
I cannot believe how inaccurate this story is.

The Danny Bonaduce video replay has likely helped him escape charges
for tossing former "Survivor" contestant Johnny Fairplay face first on
stage at an awards show. Fairplay jumped on Bonaduce Monday at the Fox
Reality Channel award show, wrapping his arms and legs around him.
Bonaduce tossed Fairplay over his shoulders, causing him to fall
face-first onto the stage, knocking out a tooth.

Prosecutors say Bonaduce won't be charged because Fairplay "initiated
contact and acted offensively." Bonaduce's actions "fell within the
realm of self-defense," according to a district attorney's report. The
video of the incident is here.

Fairplay, 33, said he underwent 2 1/2 hours of dental surgery after
Bonaduce tossed him over his shoulders at the Fox Reality Channel's
Really Awards on Tuesday. According to a report from the Associated
Press, Deputy District Attorney Jeffrey Boxer wrote that Bonaduce did
not intentionally injure Fairplay and his "actions fell within the
realm of self-defense."
Fairplay's police report claimed Bonaduce walked on stage uninvited
and made a "derogatory statement." Fairplay later said he was giving
Bonaduce a hug, one of his signature moves as a performer. The video
of the incident captured the moment of self-defense for Bonaduce all
the way down to the sound of the audience booing Fairplay.
