She was one of a kind. Every year she'd design the most fabulous Xmas cards
and if you were smart and paid attention to her notice of the
Xmas-List-being-compiled notice on AGC, you would receive a pink Xmas card
from her with photos of her castle and dogs and Prince. I received several
and I'm terrible sorry that I missed last year's sign up. I never dreamed
it would be the last.

her exchanges with LCM. She was a woman who, despite being a prolific
poster, never EVER had a cruel word for anybody and NEVER once - AFAIK -
engaged herself in a flame war.

I only exchanged a couple of emails with her years ago when I told her that
I went to her website and was astouded by the breathtaking beauty of her
home. She answered with a very polite, "Thank you, my dear, that's very
nice ..."
It's hard to believe she's gone.
