In 1980, drummer John Bonham of Led Zeppelin died from choking on his
own vomit after drinking a huge amount of vodka the night before the
band's US tour. He was 32.
RIP, John "Bonzo" Bonham
Long live John "Bowser" Bauman!

I believe the autopsy report specified only that he choked on vomit.
It left open the question of *whose* vomit it was.

breaking up temporarily.

September really sucks for deaths of music artists.
40 shots!! (Or the equivalent thereof.) "A huge amount" indeed.
True. On the other hand, the name "John Bonham" and the word "artist"
don't really even belong in the same post.
