What people will remember this fall is this: the last week of Clinton's
administration, the DJIA was way way higher than it is now, that
employment was very, very high, that we weren't suffering staggering
business failures and high layoffs, that corporation after corporation
wasn't announcing it had cooked the books and that retirees weren't
looking for part-time jobs and so forth and so on, ad nauseum.

Bush is at the wheel and has been there since January 2001. The Supreme
Court named him Captain. I guarantee you this question will be asked
repeatedly between now and election day in November:

"Are you better off financially now with Bush in the White House than
you were when
Clinton iwas in the White House?"

I think that for enough Americans to give the Democrats control of
Congress, the answer will be NO.

One of my friends of Chinese ancestry called me today with a new
nickname for Dubya:

Dim Son.

Perfect.

People will remember that this pig-eyed sac of shit with your lip prints on
his ass - wait, there are so many guys that fit that description, I should
be specific here- Clinton, presided over the era when these accounting
scandals started. This hillbilly fuck final got the legacy he was so
desperately looking for. He gave the country an era when it was OK to lie,
to cheat and to gain at the expense of others, including the entire country.
That is the Clinton legacy you moron.

Amazing how many of you right-wing chunks'a'trash write exactly alike.
Are you getting fed your posts from your godhead Rush?

Whatever you think of Clinton, I suspect when Americans go to the voting
booth in November, they will elect a Congress controlled by the
Democratic Party and return Democrats to many statehouses now controlled
by Republicans.

And your terminal case of potty-mouth isn't going to influence that vote.

Looks as if your parents also had...a Dim Son.

First of all Cow, if you're agreeing with The Ghastly Sodomite/PhenoBarbieDoll
you truly are picking some loathsome allies. Can Hitler be far behind?

Second of all, what Billy did basically concerned only himself and his family.
Personally, I can't get too excited that whether he got a blow job or not,
although you batty reichwingers seem to get all bent out of shape over that
kind of thing.

Financial fraud, a Bush family speciality, on the other hand robs money from
stockholders, vendors, and employees. A major diference.

If you had any sense of business, or any sense of which battles were important
enough to fight and which are not, you'd understand the difference.

Madcow, please fuck off and die. The loosening moral climate
argument is pure partisan horseshit. Yes, Clinton lied about blowjobs
in a politically motivated lawsuit funded by a billionaire who hated
Clinton's guts; yes, the lawsuit was allowed to move forward because a
conservative Supreme Court decided to change a law saying a sitting
president couldn't be sued. On the other hand, Reagan's presidency
ended in a grotesque scandal of massive political wrongdoing by a
government going "off the books", just like the business scandals of
today, just like the business scandals at that G.W. Bush was involved
with at Harken (before Clinton was president) and Cheney was involved
with at Halliburton (during the Clinton presidency). The elder Bush
pardoned the criminals involved with Iran-Contra when he was an
unindicted co-conspirator. The moral climate already stunk. (For those
keeping score, far more Reagan appointees did jailtime than Clinton
appointees. Reagan's gang of thugs is only rivalled so far by the
criminal element in the Nixon administration.)

Businessmen do not cut corners because the president of the U.S.
got blowjobs from a woman who was not his wife. Businessmen cut corners
because they are greedy bastards and the S.E.C. rarely does anything
even when the greedy bastards' wrongdoing is made public.

"Morals" are not defined by lying about a blow-job. If you
want a good look at the "loosening moral climate" ... start with
the Nixon administration and work your way forward through
*every* Republican administration.

It is, however, always cute when a Republican wails out about
"perjury." Because lying ... is the language ... is the native tongue

'Fraid not erik. I have not listened to him for years, though I was
long before he became a national icon. He used to have a local show
here in Sacramento which was similar to what he does now, but there
was a trace of objectivity to it.

Then, in 1992, George Bush invited Rush to spend the night in the
White House, and from that day on he was reduced to being a shill for
the Republican party. Any pretense of objectivity was gone, and he got
boring.

If you took all the times I listened to him in the last 10 years, you
would have less than a weeks worth of shows. Maybe 12 hours total.

And all one has to do is look at my posts here, or anywhere else for
that matter, and they will see that I do not currently, and nor do I
think I have ever quoted him "word for word", unless it was something
out of one of his books (both of which I have read).

I will certainly take that bet, but it only proves how stupid you are.

The bet I was willing to make was that if the Dems did not control
both Houses as a result of the November election, you would have won.
However, lacking the cognitive skills to understand that, you shot
yourself in the foot and gave me a better deal than I was ready to

That said... The bet is on. $100. If the Dems control both Houses as a
result of the November election, you owe me. If the Retardlicans do, I
owe you. Should the Houses be split, either way, we are, to quote Don
Corleone, quits. No one owes anything.

Should we find a third party to hold the money, or do you like me hold
in disdain by their very nature anyone who would be trusted the other
one?

And if that is the case, Pay pal, or mailed check/money order? And, do
you agree that the loser cannot post for the period between the day
after the votes are counted and the time the winner has been paid?

Spell check isn't going to help with "here" and "your." People need to learn
English and rely on spell check less.

One of the things that Total Baseball and The Baseball

games at third base and Chico Salmon played 44 games at
third base. I may be going out on a limb here ... but I think
