Yes, he's still alive, as are most of the "Champagne Music Makers." The most
recent death from that program was Jim Roberts (soloist who also sang duets
with Norma Zimmer) who died in early 1999.

Still alive however in 1998 he was plagued by a series of misfortunes
including a few very serious health problems some of which required
surgery. However at last report he was doing just fine.
