(short notice - unfortunately, I can't seem to link to the eulogy by her daughter)
She illustrated books by Enid Blyton, Ursula Moray Williams, and Anne-Cath Vestly (author of the 1970s Norwegian "Aurora" series, about a young girl, her baby brother, and her stay-at-home dad). Plus Mary Hayley Bell's "Whistle Down the Wind" and a 1975 edition of "Little Women."
Probably best known for "The Railway Series" by Rev. Wilbert Awdry, which she co-illustrated with her husband Peter Edwards.
"Characters and stories from the books formed the basis of the children's television series Thomas and Friends."
