Bonnie Consolo, subject of Oscar nominated documentary

CONSOLO Bonnie, 67, Lexington, died Tues., Dec. 27, 2005. She was born
Oct. 12, 1938 in Frenchburg, KY, the daughter of Wendell and Ruby
(Sorrell) Pflug. She retired as a motivational speaker, and also
appeared in a film documentary, A Day in the Life of Bonnie Consolo.
Survivors include her sons, Matthew and Mark Consolo; sister, June
Austin; brothers, Jimmy, Milburn, and Daniel Pflug; grandson, Thomas
Consolo. A memorial service will be held at 10 am Sat. at the Church of
Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints, 405 Bell Lawn Rd., Nicholasville, KY.
Arrangements by Pruitt Funeral Home.
Published in the Lexington Herald-Leader on 12/31/2005.

Was that doc from maybe the early 70's? They showed us one in high
school and I often think about her when my son is picking things up
with his feet. Just last night he wanted to see if he could use a
fork with his feet.

It was amazing what she could do with her feet. The things that
particularly stick in my mind was the shopping for canned goods and
tying her children's shoes. IIRC, it's been 20mumble years since I've
seen it, she grew up on a farm and was expected to do chores just like
the other children.

Was that doc from maybe the early 70's?

Imdb lists the movie as from 1975.
