There is a very old tombstone in Missouri where I do some genealogy that
says:
As you are now, I once was,
As I am now, you soon shall be,
prepare for death,and follow me.

It is really strange to stand in the graveyard and read that.

Let's say it takes a minimum of ten seconds to create a tombstone.
That would mean that on *average*, these nearly-375,000 people spent
4290 hours -- nearly six months -- doing nothing but creating these
"tombstones."

I am skeptical of these figures.
