The movie was also dedicated to Dinky Patterson, who was the would-be
bungi-jumper who hit her head on the floor of the New Orleans SuperDome
while rehearsing for the '97 Super Bowl's halftime show. Don't know her
connection to the film, however.

I saw BOOGIE NIGHTS this weekend, and only caught the name of
one of the two late individuals that the film was dedicated to, in the
credits.

One dedication was for Robert Ridgley, the marvelous character actor
who played the Colonel. He died in February, of cancer.

Who was the other individual, what was their connection to
the show, and how/when/where did they die?

OMIGOD! Ernie Anderson was ALSO a legendary TV monster movie hostin Cleveland.
He went by the non de plume of GHOULARDI!

Paul Thomas Anderson is the *true* SON OF GHOULARDI?!?
