I know Forrest Tucker is gone. I also know the Larry Storch is still
with us. But from the rest of the cast, is Dobbs still alive? Is
Wrangler Jane still with us?

Frank Decova, CHIEF WILD EAGLE, and CRAZY CAT (can't recall the actor's
name) I believe are BOTH in the "happy Hunting Grounds". Wrangler Jane
is still with us (She was only 16 when she started--she LIED about her
age!)Dobbs (Jim Hampton) was just on a sitcom recently, as well as
playing Michael J Fox's dad in TEEN WOLF a few years back. Can't be sure
about the rest.

No, Don Rickles played (what ELSE) BALD EAGLE. Edward Everett Horton
LONG deceased) was ROARING CHICKEN. The late PHIL HARRIS played FLAMING
ARROW. The late PAUL LYNDE played the SINGING MOUNTIE (even all of
these were pretty much guest-shots)

Crazy Cat was portrayed by Don Diamond, who also played the bumbling corporal,
sidekick to the even more bumbling Sgt. Garcia in the old "Zorro" series done
by Disney in the 50s.

Apologies if it's already been mentioned, but another cast member of F Troop
who has long since departed is Edward Everett Horton, I think he played the
medicine man of the Hekawis. He appeared in a lot of films in the 30s & 40s,
his voice was familiar to Baby Boomers as the narrator of "Fractured Fairy
Tales" on the various incarnations of "Rocky and Bullwinkle".

Jeannette Nolan, born 1911, is still with us. She was married to character
actor John McIntire until his death in 1991. Their son, Tim McIntire, died
on April 15, 1986. Tim appeared frequently on television and co-stars in
one of my favorite junk movies, THE GUMBALL RALLY.

I see the IMDb also lists Jeanette Nolan as living...but, I have this
nagging notion that she's dead. Like, 3 or 4 years ago. Am I imagining
it?

Can't blame you for that, but I looked her up in three good sources, and
none of them has her as dead. Either she's still alive or she's been
terribly ignored.

...and, somewhat more respectably :-) , Tim played Alan Freed in
AMERICAN HOT WAX and was the voice of Blood the Dog in the screen
adaptation of Harlan Ellison's story A BOY AND HIS DOG...

Dobbs will be 78 on July 9.

How do you know that?
Melody Patterson was a mere 16 when the show started in 1965.
If she is in a nursing/rehab home, she is very young to be
there at only 65.
At least your mention of Point Lookout Nursing and Rehab in
Hollister, MO is verified.
Whether she is there or not is another question.

Ken "Parmenter" Berry is still alive too, as is his real-life wife at the time,
Jackie "Audrey" "Melody" Joseph....r

Don't know Melody Patterson's current whereabouts, but for many years she lived in northern Nevada. She pursued a bachelor's degree at Sierra Nevada College in Incline Village, Nevada (north shore of Lake Tahoe).

She used to have a webpage but it was taken down sometime ago. Somebody archived it:

The post that said she was in a nursing facility could be true or it might not be. The current USA People Search shows her current city is Reeds Spring, Missouri.

I also don't know how current this "About Us" page is from Wildest Westerns magazine, but both she and her current husband, Vern Miller, are on the staff.

My IMDb lists her as dying in 1998.
