Question on 1992 case of boy who "divorced" mother

The mother, Rachel Kingsley, died in 2006, according to some sources.
She would have been 45 at the most - maybe even only 43.
Does anyone have more details as to her death? Thanks.
(And the only updates I could find regarding Gregory Kingsley/Shawn Russ are ten years old by now. He had struggles with drugs and alcohol, but recovered and was working in a glass factory in Massachusetts at the time of the interview. He should be 42 as of last year.)
