The modern-era host of Family Feud, [not Richard Dawson], whose name I
can't immediately remember, hung himself in a California hospital late
Sunday June 2 or early Monday June 3. He had been brought to the
Hospital with a head injury. He was 40 years old.

More detail:
Ray Combes was his name, he fell in his Jacuzzi, then hung himself at
the hospital on Sunday.

Boy, did this obit give me the creeps!
Doesn't seem the type, as ignorant sounding as that is.
I wonder if the head injury caused some dementia or something.

I read over someone's shoulder this morning on the bus, an
article stated that he was very upset over his pending divorce,
that he'd been trying to kill himself for weeks, banging his
head against walls, etc....thats all I got before the dope turned
to the sports section. :\
