Buddy Holly's Widow?

Her name, according to the movie, is Maria Elena Santiago Holly. Is she
still alive? If so, anybody know where she's living? And did she have
the child she was pregnant with when Buddy Holly's plane crashed,
according to the movie?

Maria Eleana remarried several year's after B.H. was killed and had 2 or 3
children. She is now divorced and occasionaly appears at various Buddy
Hoolly related events. She was in NYC for the 9/7 tribute to Buddy (his
birthday)

Maria Elena's pregnancy; some Holly insiders say that she was never actually
pregnant.

Also, there have been reports that B.H. fathered an illegitimate child.
Possible, but if he did, he never had any contact with the child and the
report is completely unconfirmed.

My nominee for Buddy Holly Love Child is Greg Proops, who's one of the
panelists on both the U.S. and UK versions of WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY?
