Joseph “Pepe” Cardona
May 19, 1948 – July 29, 2020

ALIVE N KICKIN burst on the music scene in the magical 70's with a smash hit called "Tighter,Tighter" that sold over 2 million copies. Written and produced by Tommy James of the Shondels, "Tighter" earned them a Gold Record which they received onstage at Madison Square Garden. That led to National TV appearances on Dick Clark's American Bandstand and The Mike Douglas Show.

Led by Lead Singer and Band Leader Pepe Cardona, the group has steadily built a loyal following throughout the years and have stayed in the limelight playing Concerts, Weddings, Corporate Parties and clubs in the NY Tri-State Area. Along the way they've worked with many great artists including Tommy James and the Shondels, Chicago, Eric Burden and War, Johnny Maestro and the Brooklyn Bridge, Davey Jones of the Monkees, The Five Stairsteps, Joan Jett, Gene Cornish of The Rascals to name a few, and toured the country from Atlantic City to Vegas and L.A. They are ONE HIT WONDERS that have now spanned 6 decades in the music business...AN AMAZING FEAT!
