The late Weaver was decidedly a white separatist, but I gather never a supremecist....but it's easy to predict the obituary coverage shall label him not merely a white supremicist, but that ever-semantically-elastic slur "'racist", to boot.

Thanks for the alert re Chrisitian Identify; while I knew many are concentrated up there in northern Idaho, I was unaware that Weaver was part of that crowd.

Further, as a militant agnostic, I've never looked much into CI activities and ideology. But I shall do so soon, with a particular eye toward its positions regarding race--and of course shall happily publish a retraction, if it turns out your employment of the R word indeed isn't as elastic as that of way too many leftists nowadays.

But in the meantime, Sir/Madam "jmi", I again graciously thank you for this heads-up !
