Just as the Aatmaa acquires a childhood body, a
youth body, and an old age body during this life,
similarly the Aatmaa acquires another body after death.
The wise are not deluded by this. - Bhagavad Geeta, 2.13

As the air takes away the aroma from the source (or
flower), similarly the Aatmaa takes the six sensory
faculties from the physical body it casts off (during
death) to the (new physical) body it acquires (in
reincarnation by the power of Karm). - Bhagavad Geeta, 15.08
