February, 2003, aged 96, was the widow of Sir Derek Quicke Erskine,
Kt, [1905-77], MP and Chief Whip, Kenya African National Party Group,
1961-64.

Kt, [1905-77], MP and Chief Whip, Kenya African National Party Group,
1961-64.
She was Elisabeth Mary, daughter of Major R.S. Spurrier, King's
Dragoon Guards, and married Derek Erskine in 1927.
Her husband was knighted in 1964, and died 6 September, 1977.
Lady Erskine was the mother of two sons, and one daughter.
