Lenora 'Lee' DeRossi, Park Service Employee

Lenora "Lee" DeRossi, 83, a retired management analyst and secretary with
the U.S. Park Service, died May 22 [2010] at Greenspring Village retirement
community in Springfield of complications from a fall.

Mrs. DeRossi worked for several federal agencies before joining the Park
Service. She was a secretary to the superintendent of Yellowstone National
Park in Wyoming for four years before becoming a management analyst. She
retired in the 1970s.

Lenora Katherine Lochridge was born in Reno, Nev., and moved to Arlington
County as a child. She graduated from Washington-Lee High School.

She lived in Falls Church for many years, attended St. Paul's Episcopal
Church in Falls Church and volunteered with the Archaeological Society of
Alexandria.

She was a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club, the
International Toastmistress Club and Eastern Star, a fraternal and
charitable organization.

Her husband of 21 years, Lou DeRossi, died in 1967.

Survivors include three children, Janet Fike of Albuquerque, Joanne Lam of
Mount Sidney, Va., and Tony DeRossi of Fairfax County; three grandchildren;
and two great-grandsons.
