Film interviewer and author extraordinaire Tom Weaver reports that
actress Betsy Jones-Moreland, who appeared in such Roger Corman
classics as "Saga of the Viking Women and Their Voyage to the Waters of
the Great Sea Serpent", "Last Woman on Earth", and "Creature from the
Haunted Sea", died of cancer on May 1, 2006, at age 76. Her most recent
role was as Judge Elinor Harrelson in several Perry Mason tele-films
with Raymond Burr in the early 1990s.
