The Lady Mary Cecilia Findlay [nee Legge], who was born 27 October,
1906, eldest daughter of the 7th Earl of Dartmouth [1881-1958] by his
wife the former Lady Ruperta Wynn-Carrington, daughter of the 1st &
last Marquess of Lincolnshire, KG, died at Ickham, 31 March, 2003,
aged 96. She married in Oct. 1929, Cdr Noel Charles Mansfeldt Findlay,
RN, [1899-1976], son of Sir Mansfeldt de Cardonnel Findlay, GBE, KCMG,
CB, and had issue, [i] Jane Elizabeth, [b. 1930]; [ii] Jonathan
Mansfeldt Findlay [b. 1933], & [iii] Martin Charles Findlay, [b.1935].

Elizabeth the Queen Mother; & the Marchioness of Donegall, wife of the
7th Marquess.
A Thanksgiving service for Lady Mary's life takes place at the
Undercroft of Canterbury Cathedral, 15 April, 2003.
