"Oh if a man tried to take his time on Earth and prove before he died what one
man's life could be worth I wonder what would happen to this world."
It is part of the lyrics to the song"I wonder what would happen to this
world" The song originally appeared on his 1978 album "Living Room Suite" and
is also included on the 1988 Gold Medal Collection. I would be happy to
answer any other questions you may have about Harry- as well as provide you
with a link to pictures of his gravestone, and directions to the graveyard on
Long Island,
Jay Dermer

"I stashed the dough in my shirt."
VH1 did a "Behind The Music" show about him a couple of weeks ago. That's where
I saw the inscription on the headstone up close. Terrific program, except I
could have done with less of that music critic that used to be with Rolling
Stone!
I was only 15 when Harry died but I remember how much it touched me & always
remembered he died July 16th. Interestingly, he's also mentioned in one of the
books about psychic medium George Anderson. One of his closest friends (I think
it may have been Bill Ayres) had a reading done and Harry apparently came
through, as gregarious and happy as ever.
