I've learned today that Irene Wells Pennington, yet another of
my Death Game picks, died July 17th at 104 (she would have been
105 in December).I'd still like to find a particular obituary
(she lived in Louisiana).

She replaced her late husband Claude B. "Doc" Pennington on the
Forbes Four Hundred, having him declared mentally incompetent in his
last year and straightening out his failing business affairs.
This may happen to many senile nonagenarians but almost never are
they both 1)that rich and 2)younger (by a year) than the person
taking over for them!

The World Trade Center towers MUST rise again,
at least as tall as before...or terror has triumphed.
