Details are sketchy, but apparently he committed suicide days after a
previous attempt had been thwarted by police. According to a fan website I
found, he was a fitness and fashion model who had appeared in Abercrombie &
Fitch, International Male, and Undergear catalogs, and on the covers of DNR
and Cosmopolitan, and in Instinct and Vanity Fair. He had also been a
Playgirl centerfold, and appeared in music videos by Moby and Lil Kim. His
life and his career were just beginning.

PACIFICA (BCN)

Police had to use a taser devise to subdue a San Bruno man who had been
suspected of attempting suicide at Linda Mar Beach, Saturday, according to
the Pacifica Police Department.

Police officers and state police using four-wheel-drive vehicles searched
the beach and a California Highway Patrol helicopter was called to check the
area after police received a call that 25-year-old Brian Bianchini might try
suicide around 2:15 p.m.

It was disclosed that Bianchini had a history of carrying guns ad knives and
was a professional fighter versed in martial arts.

All the units were unable to find Bianchini.

The Police Department received another call at around 8:30 p.m. that
Bianchini was on the north end of the beach. Police located Bianchini at the
bottom of a ravine at the far north end of the beach. He refused to
cooperate with officers who attempted to take him into custody and a taser
device was used to subdue him and take him into custody.

Bianchini was taken by ambulance to San Francisco General Hospital.
