1932-2005

Dear Friends,

On one of the saddest days of my life I must inform you of the passing
of my dearest friend, my mentor and hero. Don slipped quietly away
from us at 11:36pm Tuesday night at his home in Monarch Beach,
California. Trudy was at his side. They celebrated their 46th
wedding anniversary on February 28.

Don had fought a valiant battle against chronic lymphocytic leukemia
since 1992, and had recently been treated for lymphoma. He was
suffering from a lung infection, but was not hospitalized and his
death came as a shock. Trudy said he died peacefully.

A memorial service with family, friends and fans will be held at a
later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American
Cancer Society.

I'm sure I speak for all Don's friends and fans as we share our
sorrow. May God hold his precious family: wife Trudy, daughter Heidi,
son Jeff and their families close in His loving embrace.
