06/11 - ...and the fairy tale comes to an end. The police just left my
house. Don was driving home from a business meeting in Las Vegas, and
he got into an accident and rolled the Jeep. He's dead. He's never
coming back to me. My husband, my soulmate, my other half, the one I
was meant to grow old with. I'm almost 8 months pregnant with a son he
will never get to see, and I have a one year old daughter who will
never be able to remember anything about her father... and he was such
a GOOD father to her, she was such a daddy's girl you wouldn't have
believed it! Now she'll just have to take my word for it when I tell
her how much daddy loved her, because she's too young to remember him
for too much longer. Oh god, how that breaks my heart. How am I going
to go on without him? How am I going to get a job at almost 8 months
pregnant, with a one year old baby??? I couldn't go back to porn even
if I wanted to, I'm much too huge. My ex-hubby, Bud Lee, is driving out
here in the morning with another good friend of mine, and they are
going to help me get through this. Somehow. If anyone wants to make a
charitable donation to a pregnant widow who doesn't know how she's
going to raise these two babies on her own, there's a spot on my sales
page where you can donate up to $100. If anyone wants to send more than
that (I'd be forever grateful!), you can use my Paypal Account, to
address as...@asiacarrera.com (that's asiaC@, not just asia@). I trust
that no one out there is heartless enough to misuse that email address
at a time like this. Oh god how I wish I could wake up from this
nightmare. My life went from being a dream come true to hell on earth
in just an instant. Please keep me in your thoughts and send me
strength! I've got to get through this for my two little babies,
otherwise I swear I'd have nothing to live for anymore. But I have no
choice, I will do the best I can for Catty and Devin, somehow, some
way, I must...

Her husband's name is Don Lemmon. He's a big vitamin/supplement seller/
"nutritionist" guy in Hollywood.

There's nothing yet in any of the Las Vegas newspapers, and nothing
comes up on a Google News search.

Still nothing as of 9:25 PM on 6/12. Searched news articles for his
name and his wife's both. He appears to have a large enough business
and reputation that his death wouldn't go unnoticed by the media. He
looks familiar -- was he on TV ads maybe?
And reading the blog entry from Asia Carrera, I have to ask, who
immediately runs to their blog to ask for money just after the police
left her house? She's making comments about the accident like she
doesn't know what happened (why hasn't she found out?) and she's begging
for money because they had no life insurance or car or, apparently,
family to help out.
I'm not saying it's impossible -- I don't have any family left, so
it's plausible she doesn't have family, either -- but it's all very
strange. All the immediate pleas for money rub me the wrong way.

What also rubs me the wrong way is that in the request, there's a note
that you should change her Paypal address from asia@...to asiac@... to
make donations. This makes me wonder if somebody hasn't somehow hacked
her blog and is using it for some kind of Paypal scam.

Asia Carrera’s Husband Dies
By: Carlos Martinez

CHATSWORTH, Calif. -

Don Lemmon, adult performer Asia Carrera’s husband, died in an auto
accident near Las Vegas Saturday night.

Lemmon was returning to his Utah home from a business trip when he
rolled his Jeep across several lanes of traffic on a highway, apparently
killing him instantly, his wife said on her Web site Sunday.

She could not be reached for comment. According to police, the
single-car accident took place around 9:30 Saturday night near Las Vegas.

“There was an RN (registered nurse) in the car behind him. She tried to
help Don, but there was nothing she could do. I can only hope it means
he died quickly and maybe painlessly,” she wrote.

“He’s never coming back to me. My husband, my soulmate, my other half.
The one I was meant to grow with. I’m almost eight months pregnant with
a son he will never get to see and I have a one-year-old daughter who
will never be able to remember anything about her father.”

Bud Lee, AVN Hall of Fame member and Carrera’s ex-husband, was at her
side Monday, assisting her with funeral arrangements.

“She’s devastated. There’s no doubt about it. She and Don were extremely
close. They were best friends and you couldn’t see one without the
other, so it’s a terrible loss,” Lee said.

“Her fans have really responded and she’s very appreciative of their
support.”

Lee said Carrera, 32, will hold a private memorial service and will have
his remains cremated.

Those wishing to make a donation to Carrera’s family may access her Web
site with the following link:
http://www.lildictator.com/salescredit.html. (Donors must scroll to the
bottom of the web page.)

Carrera joined the industry in 1993, starring in more than 200 titles.
She retired in December 2003 to raise a family.

Pretty sure her website will get her through the next four weeks.

She sells everything but laundry detergent.

That's interesting.
I checked it out. Looks like there is no Paypal account for asia@...
But asiac@... is a verified business member. However, to buy stuff from
her site you go through a secure server on a web site with a different
domain. That's where you make donations to her, too. These payments
don't go through Paypal at all, the best I can tell, so it's odd that
she didn't request donations through the service she already has set up.
But since the email on Paypal is verified and the domain is obviously
Asia Carrera's, I think we can assume Carrera knows about this. But why
she would immediately ask for donations through Paypal instead of her
regular donation server, and why we have no info on her husband's
passing yet, is still a mystery.

Actually, you can register a Paypal account and have the address you
type in not match the real address affiliated with the account. In
other words, you can set up an account, have the address be
as...@asiacarrera.com, but have the real address attached to the
account be sm...@smith.com, for instance. I'm not saying this is the
case with this one at all - this may very well be Asia Carrera - but
it's possible. There have been a few cases reported to eBay's fraud
boards that have used this exact method. I don't know how it's done.

BTW, she's updated her page to say that she's not having a funeral and
not making any other public announcement of his death. She says that
anybody who wants confirmation of the death can contact the Clark
County Sheriff's Office. However, they won't release information to
anyone but next of kin. The AVN obituary King Daevid posted took all
its info directly from Asia's site.

I wish we had some third-party confirmation of *any* of this. I
e-mailed one of the TV stations in Las Vegas to see if I could get
confirmation from them.

...not *all* the info -- you'll notice they get a quote from Bud Lee
into their item, and that doesn't show up in Asia's account. So, from
that aspect, unless they're running on the kayfabe basis Vince McMahon
tossed out of pro wrestling (which itself wouldn't shock me), I suspect
it's the real deal and not a hoax. Then again, there was that little
death fakery stunt that Lee's previous wife, Hyapatia Lee, pulled to
milk extra bucks out of her website's fans. Hyapatia was later located,
very much alive, in Northern California and didn't make any explanation
at all for the hoax. She's now a singer for a rock band, according to
Wikipedia...

I suppose we can wait until the Social Security index updates. How
long will that be, 6 weeks or so? That's if we have the guy's real
name.

I'm suspecting hoax at this point. Carrera's website was already set
up to take donations, so her request for donations through Paypal
instead of the clearinghouse seems suspicious. The timeline of her
story rings false. She hopped on her blog immediately after police
informed her of her husband's death? There's no in-laws, relatives,
co-workers, former co-workers, or friends besides her ex (curiously, the
one who provided the AVN quote) to help her out?
If it was someone using her site for nefarious purposes, they'd have
been discovered by now. Carrera has to have gotten calls or emails from
people she knows expressing sympathy since her former co-workers surely
read AVN.

>Then again, there was that little
>death fakery stunt that Lee's previous wife, Hyapatia Lee, pulled to

That's not a normal kind of coincidence. If she never was prosecuted
for fraud then Lee and Carrera probably thought this was an excellent
way to make extra money.

So... Don Lemmon doesn't have any family, either? Even if Asia wanted
to avoid press she'd still alert his family. Right?
She mentions business partners. So she's talked to them but they
haven't put anything on the Don Lemmon website about his death. His
blog hasn't updated since June 8th.
Lemmon's blog says he is woring on a book with author Steven Poor.
Poor's website has no mention of Lemmon's death. However Poor's website
has a link to a Don Lemmon forum which I just signed up for. I'll let
you know what I find out.

Well, this is odd. Carrera states that Lemmon rolled his car after
leaving Las Vegas on his way back to LA. But the Vegas coroner's office
has all his stuff, so you'd assume the wreck was in or near Vegas. What
we need to find is a traffic accident report for Vegas for that day.
No luck online yet.

Okay - so it's on Asia's website, which has been quoted by the

For the record, it's been reported on Wikipedia, but they're just
parroting what's on her web site. Still no mention in the 2 Las Vegas

I joined Don Lemmon's forum liesandpropaganda <dot> com. The only
info they have is from Asia's web site. There is NO information out
there that did not originate from Asia herself. A few people on the
forum said Asia's been on a "mommy board" asking for donations, too.

The forum is full of personal friends of Lemmon's and people who were
working with him on projects. NONE of them were notified of his passing
until someone posted that "Asia said" Lemmon was killed in an accident.

Was NO ONE informed? Seriously, why has Carrera been begging for
donations on at least two web sites but not been able to call some of
his friends and colleagues to let them know what happened? Makes you
wonder if the family was even informed.

Except Bud Lee is her ex-husband, the one she mentions in her blog as
helping out. And he mentions funeral arrangements which Carrera said
back on the 11th there would be no funeral. So if there's a hoax, he's
in on it.
I'm stumped at this point. Unless we can find some traffic accident
report to confirm this, I dunno what else to do.
It's just odd that Carrera would be spending so much time asking for
donations yet she's not having an obit published or a funeral. Both
those things would help increase her donations because it would get the
word out to more people who could give to her cause. Don Lemmon was
known for a LOT more than being Asia Carrera's husband so publicizing
his passing would get to a much larger audience.

I still dont get it. Carrera makes a big deal out of having all these
"stocks and mutual funds" and never having to rely on anyone, her husband
Don owns this big company, yet they have to solicit "beg" funds on the
internet to help poor carrera.

I don't get it either. 1). Don is a business man: he owns websites, has
his own products, has his own companies, has written books, has his own
magazine, has been into rock music, was a fitness nutritionist and
instructor for celebs, performed on radio and tv. Asia has her own
business, she owns websites, is in the gaming industry, sells her
products: movies, pics, etc., sells her name to websites to be used as
a portal, etc etc. Don dies in a car accident on June 11 and nothing in
the news. Not even on a body building or fitness news site. And no
obituary.

2). Don was formerly married to a female bodybuilder Nadio Altero who
was into the same business as Don: selling products, webistes,
performances, etc. Don has a daughter Carly Renee Annichine from his
earlier marriage and he was in a custody battle over her. Nadia also
seems to have disappeared from public life.

3). Hyapatia Lee, ex-porn star and ex-wife of Asia Carrera's ex-husband
Bud Lee (got it?) pulled to milk extra bucks out of her website's fans
some time ago. She faked her death and there was fundraising on her
site for her disease. Hyapatia was later located, very much alive, in
Northern California and is now into the rock music industry. She never
explained the hoax.

But it all comes down to one thing: who's running to the internet to
start begging for money when you've just heard that your husband is
dead? I think most of us are posting here because we can' t understand.
I ask myself: do these people really exist?

Obituary was published today in Las Vegas Review Journal:
http://www.reviewjournal.com/obituaries/individual_display.jsp?obitID=4724265:
And also published on Asia blog, in which she was begging for money
again. It's all very sad.

Published June 16, 2006.

LEMMON JR., DONALD

Donald Edward Lemmon, Jr., age 37, died in a single car accident
outside of Las Vegas, June 10, 2006. He was born Sept. 4, 1968, in

Lemmon. On Dec. 19, 2003, he married Asia Carrera in Koolina, Hawaii.
Donald grew up in Ohio. He served in the U.S. Army, then moved back to
Ohio working as a personal trainer. He moved to Los Angeles to pursue a
career in a rock band. There Donald found success with a nutritional
web site and he became a nutritionist and personal trainer. He was also
a published science fiction author. Donald was a devoted husband and a
loving father. Survivors include his wife, Asia; one daughter from his
first marriage, Carly of Ohio; one daughter from his second marriage,
Catalina of St. George, Utah; one soon to be born son, Donald Edward
Lemmon, III; mother, Laura of Ohio; one brother, Jeff Lemmon; and four

They don't live in Hawaii anymore but in St George Utah and Don died in
Vegas. Obit was also published in Tribute Chronicle in Ohio.

i wouldn't put too much credit in a famously incompetent and corrupt
organization like avn - who also has long standing ties with her. (i am
from the adult biz and avn is well known for being very corrupt - an
example of which is the industry "awards" they give out to the highest
bidder)

Why was it published in the Vegas paper? I thought they lived in St
George, Utah, and Asia's blog said he died on the way back to Los
Angeles where I thought they had another home.
Besides she already said this was a paid obit she was working on. It
doesn't prove anything, really.
Guess we'll have to wait for the social security database to update,
which takes several weeks or so.

The only new thing I discovered from the forum is that an author
working with Lemmon on a project emailed Lemmon's lawyer who apparently
didn't know Lemmon had passed away.
The appearance of almost NOBODY being informed of Lemmon's death is
really suspicious to me. However, if this obit was published in the
state where most of Don's family lives, that makes it seem more likely
to be legit, if you ask me. Unless all his exes, siblings, and mother
are in on it.
Or are being hoaxed, I guess. But after visiting his forum I can't
believe Don Lemmon would screw over so many colleagues, relatives, and
friends who think so highly of him.
One completely hypothetical theory is someone is being a greedy
so-and-so begging for money she doesn't really need, looking to profit
off a death. And was also the kind of person to not inform people of a
person's death.

Very strange that se didn;t inform his lawyer since she's such a greedy
person ! That would have been the first sensible thing to do -
considering all his business activities.

Think you're right. What strikes me is all the people on his forum that
are supporting her and sending donations. Why ? Is nobody considering
that she might profit ? And can't they wait until legal things are
solved.

On a porn talk forum there's a discussion going on about Asia's begging
related to her alleged gambling addiction:

http://www.xxxporntalk.com//ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=monkeycage&Number=166388&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1#Post166571

Asia is definitely BROKE. Here's the deal: Her husband, before he died,
struggled to keep money away from Asia due to Asia's Gambling
Addiction, which according to the little bird is "severe." Over the
years ASIA completely pissed away the money she made in PORN.

And, apparently, brains, too.

She is one of the people written up in the June 2004 Mensa Monthly
Bulletin featuring famous Mensa members (including Isaac Asimov,
Gena Davis, actor Alan Rachins (Dharma & Greg, L. A. Law), and
some others.

It said Asia was an honor student, was in all kinds of honor
societies, and attended Rutgers, etc.

Yeah, I can see where someone who is Rutgers educated couldn't get a
job and would have to rely on handouts from strangers. She's so brainy
she didn't bother to buy life insurance when she started having kids.
Oh, wait, an alleged high IQ doesn't equal common sense! Forgot that
for a moment.

Just read the whole crazy story. Sounds like a complete hoax. Maybe
there's something wrong with my eyes but the woman on that blog doesn't
even look like Asia. Who's gonna put her porn name in an obit? These
people are not real. Must be cheap impostors who are getting money out
of a silly story like all these spamwriters.
