Aw! shucks! what does it matter as long as you don't wake up.......dead!

added alt.tv.navy-ncis 'cause there's a lot of JAG fans there.
Just to be specific about his most relevant (and IMO best) credits
above:
Mackay played Bud Roberts' father, Big Bud on JAG
And, of course, he played French on Baa Baa Black Sheep, as well as
Stephen Collins's sidekick Corky on Tales of the Gold Monkey.

LORELAI: I am so done with plans. I am never, ever making one again.
It never works. I spend the day obsessing over why it didn't work
and what I could've done differently. I'm analyzing all my shortcomings
when all I really need to be doing is vowing to never, ever make a plan
ever again, which I'm doing now, having once again been the innocent
victim of my own stupid plans. God, I need some coffee.
Ack! That's awful. He was a really nice guy, and used to join us
sometimes at the late great Magnum PI group. :(

It's an explanation, not an excuse!

My favorite stuff of his was as Lt. McReynolds in Magnum.
Gordie the shrinkee on "Dr. Shrinker" on Saturday Morning TV. His
first tv role.
Ditto ...
And I've been enjoying it again thanks to the DVD sets of the series.
You didn't like him as much as Jim Bonig?

I thought that whole arc was contrived beyond belief.

Austin CBS affiliate has been showing all of the 50s/60s/70s/80s cop
shows on its DTV 2 channel. I've been recording Perry Mason for
viewing.
