The February 2001 issue of Science Fiction Chronicle has arrived, and
with it comes some obits I don't remember seeing here:

Edward Anhalt died September 3, 2000 at 86. He wrote the screenplays
for "Bulldog Drummond Strikes Back" and "The Satan Bug," among others.

Actress Dori Brenner died September 16, 2000 at 53 of cancer. She
appeared in the 1980 film "Altered States" and a 1987 sitcom called
"The Charmings."

Screenwriter Robert Wright Campbell died September 21, 2000 at 73. He
was nominated for an Oscar for his screenplay for the 1957 film "Man of
a Thousand Faces," which starred Jimmy Cagney as Lon Chaney. He also
wrote "Teenage Caveman" and "Masque of the Red Death" for Roger Corman.

Tony McCoy, who played the hero (such as he was) in Ed Wood's 1956 film
"Bride of the Monster," died sometime during August 2000.

Actress Gloria Talbott died on September 19, 2000 at 69. She may be
best remembered for her role in the underrated '50s film "I Married a
Monster from Outer Space." She also played the title role in the
"Adventures of Superman" episode "The Girl Who Hired Superman."

Peter Turgeon, who played Dr. Dave Woodard on the soap opera "Dark
Shadows" in 1967, died October 6, 2000 at 80.

Dori Brenner? "Next Stop Greenwich Village" Dori Brenner? Oh God, she was
wonderful. Very sad. One of my favorite movies (Mazursky at his best).
