Phil Garner and Tim Purpura's jobs with the Astros

Houston Astros owner Drayton McLane has fired manager Phil Garner and
general manager Tim Purpura. The Astros are 58-73 this season and tied
for last place in the NL Central.

Astros president Tal Smith will be interim GM. Bench coach Cecil
Cooper will be interim manager.

I went to two games last week. The first one against the Nationals on
Tuesday night. We got slaughter and the other agasint the Pirates On
Saturday we lost by 3. Our team was not looking good, but firing them I am
not sure if that was the answer. We have tikets to 6 more games this
season. It's going to be interesting to see what happens.
