I don't like Mitt Romney myself and am not going to vote for him, but I
think it is a good thing that Brits hate him -- perhaps his best
qualification for the U.S. presidency.

Brits LOVED George W. Bush, and happily jumped on the war bandwagon after
their spy agency fed our idiot president forged documents on Iraq's non-
existent nuclear program, because British Petroleum wanted access to that
country's vast oil reserves.

More recently, Britain released the Libyan terrorist convicted of the Pan
Am 103 flight in 1988 which killed 189 Americans, in order to secure a
lucrative Libyan drilling contract for British Petroleum.

Then there is the way Britain uses our "special relationship" to get OUR
country to defend THEIR interests. Libya comes into the picture again,
with our idiot president deploying U.S. troops for a NATO operation to
topple the Gaddafi regime, after rebels promised British Petroleum first
dibs on their oil.

There is also Britain's ongoing dispute with Argentina over the Falkland
Islands: Britain was outraged after Hillary proposed negotiations to
settle the dispute, since Britain expects the USA to help it defend its
colony. Oh, Britain probably could defend the Falklands on its own, but
the war would stretch its resources and force its government to make the
politically unpopular decision to cut spending or raise taxes. Gawd
forbid the Brits should cut one pence from the NHS budget, so it is
better to convince their stupid American cousins to borrow money from
China to fight their wars for them.

Actually, the Brits supported him in the wake of 9/11, at a time when
virtually the entire world wanted to help America. Old George did a
pretty good job of pissing that good will away though, didn't he?

You didn't bother to read the rest of my post:
