Nude beaches

This past weekend I went with friends for the first time to a nude beach in
Texas. I over came my inhibitions and discovered a new freedom. I will be
working for nearly a month in Mobile Alabama. Can some one direct me to any
nude beaches near Mobile? Traveling to neighboring state would not be a
problem.

Try the World Guide to Nude Beaches, available through TNS (The Naturist
Society). Also, log onto the AANR web site for other nearby facilities and
opportunities.

What nude beaches in Texas? Although I've gone nude on Texas beaches, I was
always looking over my shoulder - I was on remote portions of a beach with no
other nudes (or clothed people) in view. If there are beaches where other
nudes frequent, I'd like to know where. Thanks.

The beach is located on Bolivar pennisula just across the ferry from Galveston
Island. If you take Interstate 45 south from Houston to Galveston you just
follow the ferry signs and cross the ferry to Bolivar and go about 30 miles.
The road will cut left towards High Island. You go straight instead of left
where the barricades are. Back in the 80's Tropical Storm Allen washed out
Highway 87 that ran from Bolivar to Port Authur. Well the road no longer
exists and about 5 miles down that road you come to a National Seashore and no
one bothers you there. The beach isnt much because it is part of Galveston Bay
but it is clean and the parks department keeps the road graded on a regular
basis. The is a lot of camping and people in motor homes and there are always
a lot of people around.
If you are traveling east from Houston you can take Interstate 10 east and
when you come to the town of Winnie you take a right where you see the sign
beach access. You go about 20 miles and go through High Island and when the
road cuts to the right you look for the u- turn and go back a few blocks to the
barricades I told you about and go down the graded road till you see naked
people. My girlfriend and I go there quite a bit during the summer. Sometimes
there are whole families but most of the time it is just a lot of adults
enjoying themselves. This is one of Texas best kept secrets. There a lot of
lookey-loos that drive up and down the beach sometimes but they bother no one.
The first end of the beach is straight people and the other end of the nude
beach is gay but there have never been any problems I have encountered there
and at night it is like Hedonism there I have been told. My girlfriend and I
arent into swinging so we usually leave around dark but I have heard of the
wild nekkid parties that have gone on there before. Well maybe you can

The best nude beach in Texas is on South Padre Island about 14 miles north
of Pt. Isobel. The water is beautiful and the beach is strictly "no
hassle". There is no need to look over your shoulder.
