stressing and relaxation in the sun and shade from not only the
Midlands of SC, but the upstate as well as North Carolina.
Albert retained his title as Ladder Toss Champ. The usual snacks were
available all day including fresh cherries, mango salsa, and the ever
present garlic-spinach dip. For potluck supper, we enjoyed a wonderful
variety of food from crab to gourmet chicken salad on croissants to
macaroni salad w/chicken, deli meat, broccoli salad, and for dessert,
brownies and ice cream. We now have new Charlotte membership who in
addition to being a nice person, a photographer and a painter.
The auction did see some movement today. See below. Thank you all for
making not only the day wonderful, but for making this club the best
ever!
Our next scheduled event will be Saturday, July 3rd at Cedar Creek.
Join in the fun day in the pool or in the sun and shade. There will be
a baked chicken dinner available for @6.50. Allen and I will be
bringing a few pounds of barbecue and macaroni and cheese. We need to
know by 6/29 if you will be eating the baked chicken so we can alert
the park.
Saturday, July 10 is our annual canude trip on the Lumber River
leaving from Nichols @ 11am. We have only 2 canoes available; the rest
are already reserved. Your check is your receipt. If you have not as
yet filled out a registration form for the trip or to rent a vessel,
please let me know asap. We'll be arriving at Whispering Pines Friday,
July 9 mid-afternoon and leaving around lunchtime on Sunday.
Saturday, July 24 is our annual luau and hopefully Ham Radio Event in
Graniteville beginning @ 2:30.
Allen and I continue to plan the pool installation along with the
"bunkhouse"

At the conclusion of the auction that began on May 8th and ends on
September 11th, donations will be made to the Naturist Action
Committee, AANR Education Foundation, American Nudist Research
Library, and Sistercare, a charity for abused women and their
children.
If it doesn't have a name, those folk have requested to not have their
name listed. We have bids from all over the US currently. We do ship,
but you're responsible for those costs.
