Just got back from spring break today... I checked out alt.noise and it
is Not united.... which is good. There should be more chaos in a group that
is supposed to revolve around it.
As far as the whole cover-art controversy going on over at alt.noise, I'm
about to chime in with "JOE ROEMER IS RIGHT," because apparently cliche'
shock tactics do get artists more exposure than subtlety or irony or any
of the other 'artful' business people like so much. I sent incense
and flowers to people with my tapes, put them in cheese popcorn bags
and honey mustard pretzel boxes, etc... and it's
probably done me more harm than good.
I just finished the cover art for leaden arabesque...
The cover itself looks like a ripoff of the first Godflesh and the
inside got a much unexpected and somewhat distressing 'very KMFDM'
comment from the last person I showed it to. It'll have to do because i
don't have any good bondage pics... my ex-girlfriend has a picture of
me coming on her lips that would probably make the grade in the 'power
electronics' circles, but we are no longer on speaking terms so i suppose
that's not happening.
Well, i should get goin before i miss any more classes, but i have to risk
offending you and everyone else i know because i can't keep it in any more:
Aube is fucking dull! And all his record covers are fucking stupid, they all
look the same... The first 500 times i thought it was subtle and tasteful,
now i just think it's bland, especially since it translates into TWELVE
DOLLAR FUCKING TAPES! Ok, I will calm down now.
