How to take screenshots
Command-Shift-3 — takes a screenshot of the whole screen (saves as file on
Command-Shift-Control-3 — takes a screenshot of the whole screen but saves it to the clipboard
Command-Shift-4 — allows you to select the area that you want to take a screenshot of (saves to desktop) (pressing space after you let up on the keys lets you take a screenshot of just that window)
Command-Shift-Control-4 — allows you to select the area that you want to take a screenshot of (saves to clipboard) (pressing space after you let up on the keys lets you take a screenshot of just that window)
I am 100% shure that this works on Snow Leopard 10.6
