Downloading YouTube videos in Safari

Downloading internet videos in Safari.
Some of the new versions of safari don't work this way. I'm using 5.1.
Find the youtube video.
Click Window in the menubar then click Activity.
Scroll down the list (and expand items if you need to) until you find an item that's several Mb (megabytes).
Double click that item and it should start downloading.
Now you probably need to download software to be able to watch that.
I would recommend Flip4Mac or Adobe Media Player.
There is also other software that will convert it to .mov or mp4. etc...
This works on many different sites.
