The NLA forces comprised at least 150 mujahedins and according to
certain information part of them are still active in Macedonia,
intelligence sources report. This information has also been found in the
recently captured computer records of the NLA.
Seven days ago, at the police checkpoint near the Skopje village of
Arachinovo, Macedonian security forces during their check of a taxi
vehicle arrested Sedula Murati (27) with whom there were found several
computer CDs, a hard disk, photographs of NLA members and lists of
Albanian terrorists from the Ismet Jashari brigade 113 operating in
the Kumanovo-Lipkovo region.
Murati was in charge of the computer processing of data on all the
structures of the brigade 113. He recorded the presence and the activity
of the mujahedin unit within the Ismet Jashari brigade, the activities
of the special units, and also kept data on the brigade s formation and
commanding personnel.
Sedula joined the terrorists on March 22 this year at the personal
request of Hajrula Misimi, known as commander Shpati. During the
fighting against the Macedonian security forces, the arrested was
stationed in the Kumanovo village of Lipkovo where he was processing
information for the needs of the brigade 113. According to the data in
Murati s captured computer records, a mujahedin unit of about 120
fighters operated in the Kumanovo-Lipkovo region. This unit was not
included within the Ismet Jashari brigade. The mujahedins arrived in
the area of Kumanovo in May of this year upon previous agreement among
Xhezair Shaqiri commander Hoxha, commander Sokoli and Daut Haradinaj.
Only these two had direct contacts with the mujahedins.
The members of the mujahedin unit were natives of Saudi Arabia,
Afghanistan, Bosnia and Turkey. However, the unit also comprised persons
from Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia who used to live in the Arab
countries and were trained in their terrorist camps. Selim Ferit form
Skopje was the commander of the mujahedin unit, while Bekjir Halimi was
his deputy. The activities of this unit were video taped by Adem Ramzi,
a mujahedin from Turkey. The principal activities of this unit were
surveying the terrain, discovering positions of Macedonian security
forces and conducting ambush attacks.
A separate mujahedin platoon operated within the Ismet Jashari
brigade 113. The platoon had 25-30 mujahedins under the leadership of
commander Sabedin Delmani from the village of Lipkovo. He got his
theology degree from a university in Saudi Arabia where he also
underwent terrorist training and as a mujahedin warrior afterwards,
Selmani fought in Bosnia. Jakup Asipi, who spent a month in Switzerland
and Saudi Arabia, was in charge of raising cash in the Kumanovo region.
Within the framework of the brigade 113 operated a special unit
Shiponi of around 40. Its members were mostly Albanians having worked
as bodyguards in western European countries. Xhemo N. from Kumanovo was
the commander of the special troops. He was born in Switzerland where he
worked as a bodyguard for a long time. The Shiponi unit operated in
the village of Otlja. The unit in charge of reconnaissance and ambushes
carrying out its actions within the Ismet Jashari brigade had c.120
men and was headed by commander Jetula Chari alias Guri and his deputy
Xhevad Bujori Doctor from Kosovo. The reconnaissance and ambush unit
operated in the villages of Slupchane and Otlja. The fast intervention
unit Baruti was headed by commander Xhemail Ljamaljari known as
commander Barut. Baruti had 40 or so fighters and operated in the
village of Matejche where commander Barut was wounded in the fighting.
The military police of the NLA brigade 113 consisted of around 120
people under the leadership of Abedin Ziberi from the village of
Slupchane and his deputy Dino N. of Kosovo. The military police was
headquartered in Matejche, while its members carried out operations
throughout the Kumanovo region. In addition, the Ismet Jashari brigade
had a special guard of 10 people defending the headquarters in Slupchane
led by commander Shuko Limani of Kumanovo. Slupchane was also the base
of brigade 113 s celebration guard of 35 headed by Burhan Sadiku
Mahoj, whose father was former major in the Yugoslav National Army, and
his deputy Aziri Avdi from Slupchane. A special NLA unit of 25 named
Skenderbeg was also active in the area of Kumanovo under the
leadership of commander Dem Hasaj Bekir from Gjakovica, Kosovo, and his
deputy Hanzaj Zhulj from Dechani, Kosovo.
According to the statements of Sadula Murati, the brigade 113 comprised
around 1,400 members whose activities covered the area between the
villages of Lojane and Matejche, while the region stretching between
Matejche and Nikushtak was the operating ground of the Fadil Nimani
Tigar brigade 114 whose leader was killed in the fighting around
Kumanovo.

It is forbidden to use the materials from this site in ways that
promote hatred, racism, or ethnic hostilities, especially in ways that
implicate, hint, or openly blame all Albanians for the consequences of
the murderous acts committed by the terrorist NLA/KLA/UCK. We understand
that only small percent of Macedonian Albanians support KLA in its
self-destructing quest for the old fascist construct, Great Albania, and
even fewer do so voluntarily. Most of Albanians involved in the
hostilities are pushed into them by way of forced mobilization or are
misguided by continuous brainwashing. Macedonia has always been a
multiethnic entity, where different cultures and religions lived side by
side. This diversity is the foundation of its beauty and strength.
Please help the Police and the Army of Republic of Macedonia protect its
diversity, democratic values, and the lives of innocent people
threatened by the KLA terrorists by continuing the Macedonian tradition
of tolerance. Please do not vent your frustration, anger, and pain on
your neighbors just because they speak the same language as the KLA
criminals. Ordinary citizens of Macedonia belonging to all its ethnic
groups (Macedonians, Albanians, Vlachs, Turks, Rroma, Serbs, Bosnians,
and others) all share the same problems, same joys, just like they share
the same sun and stomp the same ground. They have been living and
working together for ages, and will continue to do so as soon as the
supporters of KLA and all who promote violence are moved from the scene
and put into jail, where they belong.

The reports about Mujaheddin in the Balkans various areas have been consistent
since 1992, supported by fact, supported by the mujaheddin communities now resident
in Bosnia (they all married Bosnian wives and frm a couple of vilalges where they
try to impose their lifestyle), videotaped in Albania with Kosovars, known to be in
Kosovo today and videotaped and present in Macedonia. Some of them are well
meaning. Some not. Not alll Islamic fundamentalist groups are the same. And
tneither are all Albanians the same./
Get your falsehoods out of here, Gail. Fyrom is not

I can assure you that in Makedonia we do not have any Mujaheddins, however it
is amazing that in SKOPIALAND the SKOPIANS can tell who and what someone is by
just looking at pictures......
