Kennedy wasn't killed because he opposed the Vietnam war. He
was killed because he opposed the Cold War, and the fuse that led to
his death was lit in Western Europe by the leaders of what would
become the more powerful EU countries because if Kennedy had ended the
cold war as he said he wanted to, they would have been truly out in
