Problems trying to uninstall Netscape 8. Can't remove Weather Services

only partly worked and Weather Services still remains as shown by
add/remove programs in Windows XP. This is particularly annoying
because I specifically requested it not to be installed in the first
place and the install program forced me to install it.
When you try to uninstall this Weather Services program, it fires up
my dial up program for the Internet. What is going on? If I cancel my
dialup program, the install remove/add program just hangs. I do not
want further unwanted software from Netscape 8 providers.
Also when I look at my computers program files folder via explorer, in
addition to the The Weather Channel FW folder there is a Simpli
Software folder. How am I supposed to remove this?
My experience of installing Netscape 8 is like getting an unwanted
virus in the form of this weather program.
Can anyone help please?

On my machine it was installed in the Program Files folder on my C
drive
in the subdirectory "The Weather Channel FW"
>From here, go to the Framework subdirectory and double-click on
UNWISE.EXE. Do the same in the Desktop Weather subdirectory.

That worked for the subdirectory Framework . I always wondered what
those unwise.exe programs were, now I know.
However, for the The Weather Channel FWdirectory it stops on an Open
My documents window trying to open a file called INSTALL of file type
Installation logs. I didn't like the look of that, but pressed open
anyway and it says INSTALL.LOG not found.
I assume this file was not created on installation. So is the best I
can do is to just delete the The Weather Channel FWdirectory and its
contents?
